Innovative methods on representing and accessing data and knowledge in the study of classics are crucial to its relevance in the modern digital era. This year, the Wilson Center once again sponsored a student to attend Harvard's Information Fluency in Classics Program.

The Clinton Global Health Initiative University (CGI U) conference brings students, faculty members, and thought leaders together to discuss innovative solutions to global issues ranging from education to poverty alleviation.

A Fabrication Laboratory, also known as a Fab Lab, is a small-scale workshop that provides access to tools for digital fabrication. Sage Kaplan-Goland ’20, a physics major, has been exploring the possibility of incorporating a Fab Lab here at Grinnell.

SPARK Social Innovation Challenge Inspires Kayla Estes to Work for a Community Daycare and Preschool
The array of strategies and tools that Kayla Estes ’18 and her teammates developed through Spark inspired two community organizations, Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Agency and the Ahrens Family Foundation, to fund Estes’ continued work with the Grinnell Community Daycare and Preschool Center.

Jarren Santos ’17’s journey to a master of public health degree included an innovative science program, faculty-mentored advanced projects, a tour to meet alumni in data analysis and technology, off-campus research, and a cooperative degree program.

Teodora Cakarmis '17, a French and Political Science major, received funding from the Wilson Center for Innovation and Leadership to attend the 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP22) in Marrakech, Morocco.
